In continuation of   4pm to 8 pm diary 7 of Divinity personified - Great Saint Ushaji ,    let me mention  Great Saint Ushaji 's  activities after  8 pm daily at holy Dham Vrindavan.

After 8 pm to 8.30 pm   is relatively free time as after that  evening Kirtan starts and then from   9 pm ,  Saint Ushaji will initiate   Shayan program of Thakurji . So during this  half-hour   (  8 to 8.30  ) ,  She will lie down for few minutes   if  too tired during the day due to visitors etc .  Or  will  discuss personal  matters etc with the visitors as it's golden opportunity for him / her   to discuss spiritual progress / their concerns with Her.  Often ,  Saint Ushaji will use this time to read a new book received  and poojya Bahinji  will be the Kathakar or Sootji  as of Bhagwatam  !  For example ,  in 1986  , Saint Ushaji was reading  Gospel  ( Swami Ramakrishan Paramhans (1836-1886) . Her another favorite book was Chaitanya Charitavali ..  Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu or Lord Gauranga. Once I saw Her reading 12th Chapter  of Gitaji  .  At  write-up  Chapter XII of GITAJI has 22 verses  thus you will find mention that :---

"Our  own Saint Ushaji  of 18th Feb, 2008 is jayanti of Swami Ramkrishan Paramhansa    fame used to  sing  its verses from number   13  to 20   too often  day &  night  !!!!!!! ." 

Thus even though   Saint Ushaji was Herself a divine  personality of highest order  ,  She emphasized on study & Manan  of  scriptures  as part of daily life of a Devotee ... let us bow to lotus feet of GITAJI , Ramayana and Bhagwatam most humbly. 

By now it's 8.30 pm and evening Kirtan starts. Her  nishta or commitment in Hari-naam was like    Namdevji Maharaj .  Sometimes  Saint Ushaji but often  poojya Sheela Bahinji initiate  it.  Or if there is a visitor  , he/ she will be encouraged  like this " AAJ  TO AAPHI KIRTAN KARAO " . It was excellent way  to involve him / her in divine process.  For example if I was there , Saint Ushaji  will ask me  to  do Kirtan :--

GOVIND GOPINATH GOPIJAN VALLABH , DEHI PAD PALLAV , HEY RADHAVALLABH

i.e.  by name She will remember YOUR  favorite kirtan and ask it to repeat it between 8.30 to 9 pm. It was excellent , individual coaching on Her part ...that's why be it kids or adults  or elders all  remember  Saint Ushaji   even today  because She made the spirituality  ( a puzzle  for households )  cakewalk for them.  EK EASY RAJPATH TAIYAR KAR DIYA , KOI BHI CHALE WITHOUT THORNS & BUSHES.  Perhaps I have no words to express  our gratitude  on behalf of WHOLE HUMANITY   how Saint Ushaji sacrificed her every minute  ( at the cost of Her personal comfort or rest  or sleep or physical pain )  that   let  everyone  associated with Her  can become  Swami Vivekananda .

And if She did not  succeed , She will say most humbly :---

"  You are Swami Vivekananda   but alas  no  Swami Ramakrishan Paramhans (1836-1886  could meet you ! "
 

Such a sublime  level of humility ( TRANADAPI SUNIHEN ....Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu or Lord Gauranga)   , I have not witnessed anywhere else and thus I repeat   Saint Ushaji  was  unique , unparallel Saint  I have never come across in my life .....

  Like  3.30 am to 5 am diary 1 of Divinity personified - Great Saint Ushaji ,  in the evening also , night kirtan was there from 8.30 to 9 pm . This is  other than  night Jagrans on  Lord Sri Krishna Janmashtmi -Radhashtmi-Shivratri etc or special recitation on SriRamnaumi -Sitanaumi from Goswami Tulsidassji's Ramayana .

 
Actually singing Lord Vishnu / Ramji/ Krishnaji's name  is ONLY  way out in present age or Kaliyug so other methods of salvation like truth  in Satyuga , Yagnas in Treta , worship in Dwapar  are not relevant today : glory of Lord Sri Hari's name   at  http://hari-vrinda-dham.sulekha.com/blog/posts.htm.

To recall , we   were at  Kirtan please upto 9 pm.  On Ekadasi , additional  " ADHRAM MADHURAM ....or   MADHURSHTAK .. 6 am stuti of Sri Nathji   used to be chanted which is most enchanting really.  Then  "ARTI   KIJE  NAVNGAR KI" used  to be sung  .Yes , this is the same Arti  , that  is daily  sung at famous Banke Bihariji  temple of  Vrindavan .....As clock strikes 9 am on Monday , 17th March , 2008....

After  Kirtan-Arti is over  , Vijayji will most delicately hand over  Shaiya  to   Saint Ushaji  for  most beautiful  Shayan of Yugalsarkar. At around  9.20 pm , milk-bhog will be there . By 9.30 pm Saint Ushaji and all of us  will have it . Often an Auntie  will sing a Shayan Pad  from one of Rasiks , say , Saint Meera Bai   or  ancient Acharya Vallabhachryaji on GITAJI .

I will promptly wash Her glass , rush it to  place  in kitchen and fall asleep  as  Goswami Tulsidassji  wrote in Sri  Ramcharitmanas    TAB RAHAUN ACHET ! For me world was off  and only at 3.30 am ( 3.30 am to 5 am diary 1 of Divinity personified - Great Saint Ushaji  )  now my  conscious will be awake. So I don't know  for how many hours ,   Saint Ushaji used to get sleep !  Perhaps very little as if  I used to get up  sometimes at 1 or 2 pm , I always found Her awake  and fanning to Thakurji , just sitting before  Them .
