sometimes you would be wondering what is a Parikar ?
In all Divine writings , you shall find mention of word PARIKAR . So sometimes you would be wondering what is a Parikar ? A parikar is Group of Associates or Divinities that usually accompany whenever an incarnation in form of God or Mahatma appears on Earth so that His leela / Saints' time on Earth is purposeful and subtle.......January 2007 special edition is just wonderful . For example ,
i) whenever Guru of all of us Lord Shiva does some leela , His Divine Consort Maa Parvatji , Lord Ganesha ,
Kartikeyaji , Nandi , mountain Kailash are always present .
Revered Great Saint Ushaji believed that Sri Shivji is PARAMGURU , guru of all Vaishnavas . One day when a person specifically asked Her , who`s her GURU & She kept mum , Lord Siva appeared before Her & touched Her forehead with His trident or TRISHUL confirming Her faith in Him as well as His acceptance of Her as a disciple . It`s Sri Shivji only who goes as Madari in Ayodhya at Sri Ramjanam or at Gokul as Sadhu Baba on Sri Krishanjanam . Who can be more humble as well as GREATER than Sri Shivji ?... let us bow to lotus feet of GITAJI , Ramayana and Bhagwatam most humbly
ii) Brahma-Vishnu -Mahesh is ADI-parikar i.e. Trimurti referred in all holy scriptures since times immemorial. 3 divine scriptures GITAJI , Ramayana and Bhagwatam is also ADI-parikar in book-form to indicate a God-realised person and Lord Sri Krishna is very happy whenever....... The general pilgrims enjoy 4 world-famous Dhams ( Dwarka, Badrinath, Sri Jagannath Puri & Rameswaram ) .
v) at the time of Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu , Nimai-Haridassji , Srivasji , Adwaitacharyaji Maharaj ( whose disciple was Vijaykrishanji Goswami and then Maa Mani .. a devotee of Jagannath Puri and Bandhu Jagadmitra) etc also took birth. His contemporaries include Saint Gyaneshwarji ; Namdevji Maharaj ; Samarth Ramdasji Maharaj ; Saint Meera Bai ; ancient Acharya Vallabhachryaji on GITAJI etc.
vi) at the time of Swami Ramakrishan Paramhans ., sublime Swami Vivekananda ., Brahmananda etc also took incarnation . Also Vijaykrishanji Goswami in Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu tradition ( whose disciple was Maa Mani ..a devotee of Jagannath Puri and Bandhu Jagadmitra) and His contemporaries Loknath Brahmchari , Lahiri Mahshya , Charandass Babaji etc.
vii) In the beginning of 20 th Century , under direct instructions of Lord Vishnuji , Seth Goenkaji , Sri Hanuman Prasad Poddarji , Sri Radha Baba started an institution Gita Press or Kalyan , Gorakhpur so divine & wonderful that many saints have come out of it e.g. Swami Ramsukhdassji Maharaj of GITA-DARPAN fame. Now you will ask who is SAKHAJI ? SAKHAJI is a divinity of Golok , who had first appeared before Saint Ushaji -Bahinji on Saint Ushaji's b'day ( 30th July , 1954 ) and started imparting Lord Sri Krishna leelas to innermost circle of devotees popularly called PARIKAR. In fact , her divine incidents with Thakurji reveal that a sort of Acharya Vallabhachryaji -Goswami Tulsidassji- Soordass Bhakti-yuga was re-enacted in Bobo era too ( 30th July 1925 to 20th Feb 1992 ) .... Before TEACHERS' DAY . When great Devotees of Lord take incarnation , they generally come in a Parikar or Divine Group so that time spent on Earth is not with worldly people but in Real Spiritual Satsang . Be it Swami Vivekananda or Swami Sivanandaji of Divine Life Society , Rishikesh or Swami Ramdevji's tour to USA , UK in July-Aug , 2008 , on every TV channel now there is emphasis on getting much early before sunrise for better health & wisdom and Saint Ushaji was practicing it since 1931 i.e. from Her childhood days. And Gitaji says MAHAJANA SA PANTHA i.e. Her followers also developed same habit of rising early and start the day with Lord Sri Hari's names . Chanting of following Mahamantra day & night ( without a second break ) was Her greatest virtue
