This in continuation of a good Travelogue on ancient Hanumanji temple. First 2 categories of visitors to PANDU-POLE Hanumanji temple have alreday been discussed.
The third category of visitors belongs to who come as a custom to Temple on purchase of a new scooter / Car / tractor / truck / any new vehicle etc. As they are casual or once-in -a lifetimevisitors only , the above extractions are felt most by them only particularly as many don't buy an iron-product in India on Saturday or Tuesday so have to pay Rs 815/- plus 55/- plus 40 /- plus priest's expenses for vehicle-pooja. They are looted as a tourist while actually their purpose is just to pay a humble visit to Hanumanji ( or Balaji of Alwar )after purchase of a new vehicle .This experience desists them to visit PANDU-POLE Hanumanji temple next time / frequently but in Rajasthan Govt who bothers about all this ? Local police is corrupt andchange of Chief Minister by voters every 5 years does not mean any change in their behaviour ! This is real India ,my dear readers !
Because of this selfish attitude , Rajasthan tourism encourages all to visit PANDU-POLE Hanumanji temple whole of the year .
But I would request readers to avoid
i) months of May -June as heat is unbearable in Rajasthan and temperature may rise upto 45* . No greenery can be seen so joy of the trip through the Sariska sanctuary forest gets lost . Many do follow the trail of the Pandava brothers to a rock-wall through which
the strong Bhim created a passage for their escape from the Kauravas and as road is not car-worthy , journey on foot becomes quite taxing . Otherwise this forested glen has a narrow stream and deep waterholes but due to summer season , all looks dry & thus unattractive .
ii) months of July-August as heavy rain is there so little roads can get washed away or create problem for your vehicle. Stone-dropping from hills is also very dangerous during rainy season.
iii) Thus according to me , months from September to April are good. I would rather recommend Oct -Nov as best month as full greenery is there , mud of rainy season is over and full winter is yet to come so children can enjoy the trip very much. Kids very muchenjoy the presence of Deer/Sambhar/Peacock on the way.
